As you previously read my mate and I got new cameras and due to our excitement to take shots of anything that we thought was beautiful we decided to hop on the train and go to Koufu. We booked this tour thanks to my lovely Japanese counterpart and were off for a Sunday of happy snaps.
The tour involved a museum and a noodle making class but did we attend? Hell NO! It took us basically the whole day to walk up to the first massive waterfall and that was only about 3/4 of the way.
Anyway this is one of those happy snaps..."Superunsaturated"

Absoulutely grand mate. Love the playful use of colour. Wonderful contrast to your recent urban stuff (which is absolutely fantastic btw).

Quite breathtaking! The person on the walkway gives scale to the size of this place. Wonderful!

Very dramatic place! would love to see it "supersaturated" too! Nice one mate.

@everyone...thank you so much for your comments. I was a little worried about breaking the theme of my Supersaturated pics that I usually do but it seems you guys dig it. I really appreciate all your comments as usual. Hope you like the next one....Most likely supersaturated again!!

Mate. Nice pic. Did you grab this one from the bridge by any chance? Did you know a local Buddhist munk use to climb to the top of this cliff face and meditate for hours on a ledge the size of 2 Tatami mats?

@Darren Halliday: can't remember where I got this...maybe it was on the way up to try and find you. Closer to the waterfall me thinks. Pretty lucky to get this one actually another fluke. That "munk" must be a mad climber...he should come to my local rockcliming club he'd kick butt!
Interesting play with the saturation.

Can somebody tell me what a good resize for portraits are because I'd rather fit the whole photo on screen. Thanks.

Hello, I like the selective color in this image - something I generally don't care for. Very nice. My criticism is, this image or rather this scene screams for a polarizer to eliminate the harsh reflection in the water.

Great job on this one. Stunning scenery, and your unsaturation helps to "focus"
