I thought a leading picture would be appropriate here to kind of give some example of the path we needed to take to see some sites. I think the little chains and stumps give a good effect of this. I would have liked some DOF but I think clarity kind of works well as well.
What do you all thinK??

i think you're right mate! there's no one subject in particular you want to highlight so the clarity is better here for me. Its easier to follow the path. Nice capture. looks perilous though mate! take care of yourself and the EOS!!!

I can see the chain and stumps but... where is the walkpath?? Looks dangerous to me with only slippery stones to walk downhill on... But as long as you stand still and look at it, then it is beatiful! :)

Aye, clarity is definetly the better option to provide the viewer with an overview of the area, so good choice. The canyon/valley walls make for a very effective frame and the colours are just lush.

You're on a highway to hell....da da...highway to hell. Great shot. Looks like you got one helluva workout here.

I have to say I prefer the previus image, when the light is best, but this is intersting because show the way to arrive there up.

Nice shot mate. Very lovely green colours and nice sharp focus. Nice how you got the little scooter at the base too. Lucky you didn't fall like me that time we went to Kofu
