The end...of autumn that is!!

I thought it most appropriate to end it with this monotone looking picture. I wanted to express the end of autumn and the start of winter. I know some people might find this picture really boring because it's almost the same colour.

Anyway this is the end of this series...I hope you enjoyed the pictures. Stay tuned for some random photos I think. I haven't decided what I want to do next.

I don't find it boring at all. Fall colors are one of the best things of the year. Love those leaves. We don't have anything like them around me.

I think its a fine way to draw an end to a fine series. Let Autumn have the last word before these cold winter days really start to bite. This really makes me feel nostalgic for when I was a kid on the farm and we'd draw an end to Autumn by having a leaf fuelled bonfire and roast a big bag of chestnuts in the yard. oopppps, I'm digressing...as for the 'boring' aspect, far from it. It's actually evoked more of an emotional response than anything Ive seen today so hats off!

The repetition of shapes and monotony of colors work very well in bringing a calm end to your series. Besides that, this shot would be pretty good on its own! The selective focus on the leaves works well.

Oh that's simple and beautiful. I tried a similar shot but I like yours more, because those two, leaves in the center are nicely framed by the flat ones on the ground and in the front and background, great shot!
