sharpeye from Mumbai, IndiaThis is lovely. Very beautiful colors of flower, I love the effect of light on pink, the texture of flower looks amazing. Great shot. 13 Dec 2006 5:04am @sharpeye: thanks mate...i am glad u like my photo. please visit again and see my other new ones. @H.O: Thank you very much Hiro...welcome back to my site. I hope you like the rest of my photo's while I'm in Australia. Amit from Santa Clara, CA, United StatesWoow!!! Beautiful picture...great colors...loving it.. 13 Dec 2006 6:58am @Amit: Thank you very much...I can say the same thing about your post today. Thanks for your visit. MnX from PARIS, FranceFirst macro? I hope you're kidding because it looks better than the last I did after a lot training. I guess it's like that, there are people in the world who are naturally talented... and I'm not one of them :p 13 Dec 2006 7:29am @MnX: Yeah this was my very first Macro with the new Camera so I was really lucky to have such co-operative subjects. As for the little critter, it didn't even care that I was snapping away at it. Actually it was more interested in how much nectar it could get from the flower. There were a lot of insects that day but a lot of almost dying flowers. This was the best flower and the insect liked it so I snapped away. Don't underestimate yourself please....if anything you should find inspiration from those in the a-3 community. @badala: Thank you very much. Chris Sullivan from Melbourne, AustraliaAnd what a great first shot it is! Excellent take mate. 13 Dec 2006 7:52am @Chris Sullivan: Thanks mate!! I didn't get to see a new pic today...I'm bummed!! Thanks for the compliment. Stu from Kyoto, Japangood macro mate, first time or not I'd say. great colours and focus. 13 Dec 2006 10:05am @Stu: Thanks mate...yeah this was the first macro with the Canon Kiss. I got Sigma lenses and they're both macro lenses so this was taken with my wider angle zoom at about 70mm. I was going to get the package like yours but opted for getting lenses from another company. It's pretty good so far but I'm saving up for a super wide angle...maybe next year. I've got the EOS strapped to my hand mate...I'll never forget to take that to Aus. If I do I'll just have to buy another one there. Angry Buddha from United StatesThe colors and focus are tremendous. Great first macro. 13 Dec 2006 2:31pm @Angry Buddha: Thank you very much...I did contrast the colours a little though. The actual pink is a little duller than the real thing. Darren from JapanNice shot there mate. You make me want to buy a new macro lense. Hope you get some awesome photo's back in Australia and good luck with you know. Daz 13 Dec 2006 3:00pm @Darren: Yeah you should buy one I reckon!!! Save the wide angle for the next time. Duncan Galbraith from kyoto, JapanFantastic macro. I mean the subject(s) themselves are extremely well framed and the clarity is excellent, but man, you've pulled out the stops on this puppy with the PP. Its ridiculously good. Those colours are just melting my heart man. The DoF is beyond sublime. Print it. sell it. hang it on your wall. I would. 13 Dec 2006 4:40pm @Duncan Galbraith: Wow thanks Duncan that means a lot coming from you. Just one question what does "PP" mean?? I'm not with the photography lingo yet. Maybe I'll hang it on a wall someday. @M.E.: Thanks mate...I'm glad you like it. Wow you're becoming a regular on my site I'm very happy to read you everyday. Jenny from Manchester, United KingdomLovely macro - I think this photo is fit for a nature calendar. 13 Dec 2006 8:22pm @Jenny: Thanks mate...I'm so flattered by that comment. Maybe I'll try and find a competion and send it in. Haha. All I need is another 11 and I've got a calender. Brittney from Price, United StatesWow. That is beautiful. For sure an awesome macro. 13 Dec 2006 9:31pm @Brittney: Thank you very much...thanks for your visit. Mammoth in Chief from Naperville, United StatesYeah, great macro... Slightly lacks sharpness on the edges of the flower, but overall I love it. 14 Dec 2006 1:26am @Mammoth in Chief: Thanks mate. I tried to get it all in sharp focus but I couldn't I was pretty close to the flower. |
