Hotel room views

This was taken from my Hotel room. I stayed at the Surfers Beachside. On the net it looked like a pretty sweet place and for the price I guess it was ok. I got a spectacular view so that was good enough for me.

I've cropped out some things from this picture to make it look even busier especially with the lights.

Totally echo the above! You seem to be able to pull-off these night shots with such ease, Kelly, and you make it look so simple. You've really inspired me to get into it but i'm still waiting on this elusive tripod! Grrr!
Are your night-shots posted pretty much original or do you do much processing in PS? You've captured the different colours of the room-lights in the surfers century so well and the sky is light enough to see clearly. I'm wondering how a diffuse glow might effect an image like this, esp in b&w. It might be a little overpowering but it could also be pretty cool too I reckon. Gonna have to try Kyoto tower, as you suggested.

@Angry Buddha: Thanks mate...a couple of nights were enough for the balcony shots. The rest was spent on the beach!!! Seeing as it's almost 0 degrees celcius (30 Farenheit) and was around 34 celcius there I'm missing that hotel room.
