These little birds...well not so little are everywhere in the north of Australia. There was one of these in a theme park called Sea World. Anyway it must have been so hungry because it jumped up onto a table and tried to steal some food. The crazy thing was the person was just about to start eating the food and was sitting right at the table.
Needless to say the lady screamed her guts out and due to the fright of the ibis started balling her eyes out.
Anyway she was ok and I hope you enjoy the picture.

Woaouw! What a story... feel sorry for the lady. They were sacred animals during the egytian peak ruling times. The kight is good and love the contrast against the blue sky.

@Manuela Photography: Thanks mate the event of the story was so funny to see.
Great story. I love the photo, the bird farthest away looks like he's checking out his next meal.

@Jen: lol, yeah they're pretty fiesty little things. No shame in trying to pinch it's next meal.
Great capture! Excellent tones!

@Dimitrios: Thanks
I love this...made me chuckle. Great composition. I like how the bird on the right chose that exact moment to start cleaning it's arse - so considerate! ;-) The other bird is in such sharp focus I can see the wrinkles on the back of it's head! Sweet shot. Definitely worth printing mate.

@Stu: Yeah he was doing a little housekeeping when I took the shot. I figured I'm too shy to take candid shots of people so I'll just settle for animals. I can't speak their language so they can't yell at me.
I like your attention to crisp detail! Great job again!

@Craiger: Thanks buddy, I'm a huge fan of the sharpen tool.
Nice story. Don't mess with nature. Great shot; makes me want to go there in spite of the hazards of ibis thieves.

@Damon Schreiber: You got that right Nature has a way of biting you in the arse. They haven't got teeth so you'll be safe.
The bird capture is great. I like it a lot.

@seventhray: Thanks mate...Queensland is a beautiful place. I swear it looks like this all year!!! Only joking it's gets cloudy sometimes.
They look like they would scare the crap out of me too.

@Angry Buddha: Yeah they're pretty big, they're not the best looking things either.
Beautiful capture of the background, also. Which I reckon adds to it, a lot.

@Jenny: Thanks buddy. I was hoping people would concentrate on the place aswell as the birds.
Beautiful..both animals and the picture!!

@Herbert: Thanks buddy, stay tuned for the next one.
man thats a fine shot. The colours you consistently bring out in your shots are solid. I'm rather cack handed at times with the old PS stuff but yours is always rock. Lovely compostion to top things off, that bird on the right knows how to steal a scene.
